Members of the Elk County Wrestling (ECW) Cobras competed at three tournaments over the weekend, with the Cobras claiming hardware at all three. Cobras first traveled to the Tom Faust Memorial in Derby on Saturday before returning to Derby for the Novice Championships on Sunday, while two traveled to Columbus, Neb. for their Anchor Tournament. Following are the individual match results for ECW participants:
Tom Faust Memorial 6U Boys 67-76:
Kyptyn McTaggart placed 3rd. He won by fall over Eli Smith (Sunflower Kids) (Fall 0:15).
10U Boys 79:
Maverick Ford won a 10-9 decision over Liam Whitebird (Derby).
10U Boys 82:
Kash Bidwell placed 3rd. He won by fall over Reece Thielen (Ark City) (Fall 0:38); won a 17-2 tech fall over Ryker Maneth (Trailblazer); won a 12-0 major decision over Oliver Kraus (WTC); and won by fall over Judah Jaax (Carroll) (Fall 1:21).
8U Boys 49:
Flint Pope placed 4th. He won a 9-0 major decision over Jack Scott (WTC).
6U Girls 50:
Skylee Edwards placed 3rd. She won a 16-7 major decision over Camdyn Fussell (Halstead); won by fall over Atlas Rogers (Sunflower Kids) (Fall 0:23); and won a 9-4 decision over Camdyn Fussell (Halstead).
6U Girls 55-65:
Axl Ellsbury placed 3rd. She won by fall over Ellisen Clark (Halstead) (Fall 0:44); won by fall over Greta Carson (Mulvane) (Fall 0:26); and won by fall over Aliviana Lare (Marion) (Fall 0:16).
8U Girls 45:
Hendrix Ellsbury placed 1st. She won by fall over Willow Lee (Derby) (Fall 0:18); and won by fall over Willow Lee (Derby) (Fall 0:20).
12U Girls 75-80: Payton Vancil placed 5th.
12U Girls 85-90:
Autumn Love placed 3rd. She won by fall over Zoey Dial (Derby) (Fall 3:59).
12U Girls 105-110: Lakin Love placed 3rd.
12U Girls 115-120:
Pyper Ford placed 1st. She won by fall over Quinn King (Circle) (Fall 1:18); and won by fall over Keilee Houston (Mulvane)

The Novice Championships 6U Boys 55:
Beau Houchin placed 4th. He won an 18-0 tech fall over Swayde Hunt (Ark City WC); won by fall over Layton Westling (CK Young Lions) (Fall 2:54); won by fall over Keaton Stewart (Hutchinson) (Fall 2:09); and won by fall over Jensen Hill (Tonganoxie) (Fall 1:51).
6U Girls 45:
Brooklyn Lind placed 3rd. She won by fall over Stella Roberts (C4 Wrestling Academy) (Fall 0:42); won by fall over Parker Robe (South Central Punisher) (Fall 0:52); won by fall over Zayleigh Goff (Maize) (Fall 0:30); and won an 8-2 decision over Brynna Rosenhamer (Wichita Blue Knights).
8U Girls 65:
Pacey McGee placed 4th. She won a 7-2 decision over Karlee Brown (RSA); and won a 16-4 major decision over Hayzlee Mouse (C4 Wrestling Academy).
