To Play In Flint Hills Optimist Club Game

The Flint Hills Optimist Club has recently announced the rosters for the 2025 Flint Hills Optimist Club Area High School Basketball Game to be held on Saturday, March 29, at Emporia’s W. L. White Auditorium. The girls’ game will be at 6 p.m. with the boys’ game following at 8 p.m.

Eureka’s Laynie Winfrey and Laken Valentine and Madison’s Jalynn Weakley, Candace Ashlock and Colton Isch are among the featured players.

Those being selected to the girls’ teams are: Red Team: from Chase County: Avery Beyer; Emporia: Addeigha Heffner; Lebo: Siarra Crouch and Abigail Jones; Madison: Jalynn Weakley; Mission Valley: Kyplee Jacobson; Northern Heights: Addisyn Hinrichs; Osage City: Lexi Boss; and Southern Coffey County, Karley Ohl; and Blue Team: from Burlingame: Joselyn Simmons; Burlington: Grace Birk; Eureka: Laynie Winfrey; Hartford: Trinity Windle; Lebo: Saige Hadley; Lyndon: Savannah Davis; Madison: Candace Ashlock; Osage City: Sadie Shoemaker; and Waverly: Josie Romig.

Those being selected to the boys’ teams are: Red Team: Burlingame: Dane Winters; Council Grove: Finn Gant; Emporia: Nolan Jacob; Eureka, Laken Valentine; Hartford: Nolin Trester; Lebo: Zachary Oswald; Madison: Colton Isch; Mission Valley: Porter Deters; Wabaunsee: Caden Frank; and West Franklin: Gunnar McMahan; and Blue Team: Burlingame: Timmy Roberts; Burlington: Sage Fejfar; Chase County: Carson Schroer; Council Grove: Brycen Palmquest; Emporia: Madden Seidl; Lebo: Andrew Conrade; Lyndon: Grant Wolzem; Mission Valley: Hunter Tenbrink; Olpe: Dexton Hoelting; and Osage City: Wyatt Bailey.
