Elk County Wrestling (ECW) Club Cobras made a full weekend of wrestling, traveling to Mulvane on Saturday, Feb. 15 and Coffeyville on Sunday, Feb. 16. Following are individual match wins for ECW participants: Mulvane Mat Madness 6U Girls 50: Skylee Edwards placed 3rd. She won by fall over Carter McEachern (Newton) (Fall 2:36); won an 18-3 tech fall over Claire Siemer (Derby); and won a 14-5 major decision over Carter McEachern (Newton).
6U Girls 55: Axl Ellsbury placed 3rd. She won by fall over Lynnox Ross (El Dorado) (Fall 0:29); won by forfeit over Harlow Poston (Newton); and won by fall over Greta Carson (Mulvane Jr. Wrestling Club) (Fall 1:53).
8U Girls 45-50: Hendrix Ellsbury placed 1st. She won by forfeit over Kryiah Brooks (RSA); and won by fall over Hendrix Gawith (Salina) (Fall 2:23).
15U Girls 101-110: Emma Baumgartel placed 3rd. She won by fall over Addileah Johnson (Maize) (Fall 1:47); and won a 6-0 decision over Emersyn Chase (South-Central Punishers).
10U Boys 85: Kash Bidwell placed 4th. He won by fall over Collin Hieger (Brawlers) (Fall 1:51); won a 16-0 tech fall over Bowen Parks (Kansas Young Guns); and won by fall over Karter Hicks (Circle) (Fall 0:15).
Also represnting ECW was Beau Houchin, 6U Boys 55. [email protected] Coffeyville 6U Girls 55: Axl Ellsbury placed 2nd. She won by fall over Aniston Kitch (Neodesha Wrestling Club) (Fall 1:37); and won by fall over Sylvia Culbertson (Fredonia Wrestling Club) (Fall 0:28).
8U Girls 40-45: Hendrix Ellsbury placed 1st. She won a 16-0 tech fall over Piper Thomas (Red Devil Wrestling Club); and won by fall over Addalyn Seeley (Independence Wrestling Club) (Fall 0:13).
