Last Day To Register To Vote In General Election Next Tuesday, October 17

In less than a month, voters across the nation will have the chance to have their voices heard through the 2023 General Election.

In less than a month, voters across the nation will have the chance to have their voices heard through the 2023 General Election.

For Greenwood County, registered voters will be able to cast their ballots for city positions, including Mayor and Council positions, School Board representatives as well as one “yes” or “no” question, which will read: “Shall the sale of alcoholic liquor by the individual drink in Greenwood County be allowed in public places without a requirement that any portion of their gross receipts be from sales of food?” Deadline to register to vote for the 2023 General Election is Tuesday, October 17.

Advance voting will begin on Wednesday, October 18 at the Greenwood County Clerk’s Office. Advance voting will cease on Monday, November 6 at 12 p.m.

Election Day will be Tuesday, November 7, from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., with voters being able to cast their ballots at their Ward/Township location. Those locations include: Eureka Public Library, Hamilton Community Center, Sauder Community Center and Severy Methodist Church Hall.
