Eureka will host the annual Eureka volleyball tournament this Saturday, September 9, with matches scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
The five teams will battle in a Round Robin style tournament, with teams battling for first and second or third and fourth in the final round of the tournament.
The Ladies will battle Madison, Olpe, Fredonia and Independence on the north court (Court A). Teams will also be playing on the south court (Court B). The schedule for Court B is as follows: Round 1: Fredonia/Olpe; Round 2: Independence/Fredonia; Round 3: Olpe/Independence; Round 4: Independence/ Madison and Round 5: Madison/Olpe. During Round 3, the Tornadoes will sit out with Fredonia and Madison battling on the north court.
Trophies will be given to the top two teams as well as medals being awarded to the top three teams. Eight ladies will be named to the Eureka All-Tournament team. Eureka volleyball competed in two nights of action last week. The Ladies move into week 2 of action with a 1-4 record.
