On Feb. 1, the Toronto United Methodist Church (TUMC) celebrated Kansas Day (Jan. 29) with a soup supper at the Toronto Senior Center. This has been a tradition for the church for many years providing an evening of food, fun, and fellowship for the community.
The evening was highlighted by Jeff Davidson who sang and talked us through many years of Kansas history. His programs are always entertaining and this one was no exception.
For several years TUMC has followed the Kansas Day program with a potato bar to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Watch for news of this next event.
