On September 15, a total of six teams gathered at Eureka City Park for a round-robin style softball tournament, hosted by Warhorse Petroleum. The tournament began at 8 a.m. and moved into bracket play at 4:30 p.m., with the tournament concluding at 12:30 a.m.
Eureka Safe Night After Prom provided concessions, that were also sponsored by Warhorse Petroleum, and raised over $900 from the event. The tournament raised $1,220 in entry fees and were donated to the Eureka Recreation Commission.
Issac Boone’s team went undefeated in the tournament taking first place with Sean Alford’s team placing second.
