Open House Slated For This Sunday

Isaac and Beth Whitehead Family

Although Whitehead Service & Repair has been serving customers since July 2022, this Sunday, Jan. 12 will be its official open house.

For the past few years, Isaac “Zeek” Whitehead, owner of Whitehead Service & Repair, has been working on equipment in a small shop at his residence after he returned home from his full-time job. On Dec. 13, he closed a four-year chapter with PrairieLand and will begin a new one, as a self-employed business owner.

Whitehead, a 2005 graduate of Eureka Junior/Senior High School, shared he is happy to be back in the Eureka community and is looking forward to serving the area. “I’ve always wanted to work for myself and I finally had the opportunity to make that dream a reality,” stated Whitehead, who graduated from Butler Community College in 2006 and Wichita Area Technical College (WATC) in 2008. Over the years, Whitehead has received certificates in auto and diesel tech, as well as being factory trained in CASE and John Deere equipment.

Whitehead Service & Repair will be open Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and will offer services and repairs to agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, semi equipment, construction equipment, feed trucks, ATVs and side-bysides. They will not work on chainsaws, weedeaters or automobiles, “everything else is fair game.”

Whitehead is looking forward to serving the community but is most looking forward to having more time at home with his wife, Beth, and their two sons, Ike and Leo. Whitehead Service & Repair will host its open house at their newly constructed shop, located at 1964 US Highway 54, approximately 7 miles east of Eureka, this Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. For more information, call 620-583-4576 or email white headservice.repair@ gmail.com.
