Eureka Tornado Volleyball

The Eureka Tornado volleyball team struggled last week, going 0-6 for the week.

Eureka volleyball traveled to Erie on October 3 for triangular action. The Lady Tornadoes fell to Erie, 8-25 and 19-25 and fell to Fredonia, 10-25 and 13-25. In junior varsity action, the Lady Tornadoes fell to Erie, 10-25 and 2325 and to Fredonia, 4-25 and 15-25.

On Saturday, the Lady Tornadoes competed in the Circle Tournament. Eureka went 0-4, falling to: Douglas, 13-25 and 10-25; Wichita North, 8-25 and 7-25; Winfield, 21-25 and 13-25 and Wichita South, 24-26 and 18-25.

On Thursday, the Lady Tornado C-team hosted Flinthills for a dual. Eureka lost 13-25, 16-25 and 5-25.

Eureka will travel to Yates Center on Tuesday, October 17 to face Neodesha and Yates Center in a triangular. Matches are scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

Junior High Volleyball Eureka’s Junior High volleyball team hosted Cherryvale for their final home matches of the season.

The A team defeated Cherryvale 25-14, 25-13. The B team won 25-19, 2624. The C team won 26-24, 10-25, 15-11. The D team lost 12-25, 23-25.

Eureka will travel to Bluestem this Thursday for their final matches of the season. Matches will begin at 4:30 p.m.
