The Howard City Council meets bimonthly on the first and third Mondays of the month. The following report was generated from the official minutes of the Dec. 2 meeting, which were approved during their most recent meeting on Dec. 16.
The regular meeting of the Howard City Council was held on Dec. 2. Mayor Richard Clark called the meeting to order with councilmembers Martin Hunter, Shilo Crupper, Derek Cookson, Gary Harrod and Jerrad Pope present as well as City Clerk Joanna Hunter.
The Nov. 18 meeting minutes and city bills in the amount of $300,504.50 were approved.
The bid for the awning over the ramp at the Cox Building from Golden Rule Construction was approved.
Other discussion included replacing broken boards on docks and having employees begin coating decks yearly; the generator was moved from the lake to the Cox Building and an electrician will be wiring it in; asphalt cold-patch will be ordered in the spring; plans for the utility truck that is out of service and the auditor is scheduled for next week.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. A meeting was also held on Dec. 16. The next regular meeting will be held on Jan. 6.
