Come join us for the Greenwood County Fair on July 25-28! It’s pretty hard to believe that we’re back into county fair season already. Sure, the end of July seems pretty far away, but when it comes to planning a project and finding the time to finish it with an already busy schedule it’ll be here before we know it. The Greenwood County Fair serves as a time for us to gather as a community to celebrate the hard work our 4-H and FFA youth have put in to their projects throughout the program year.
We also get a chance to exhibit the rewarding work that has been done through hobbies that we work on at home. Hobbies that can often help us decompress from a hard day or just help fill a void in our lives that we may need to bring a little extra joy. A fun way to show off that work can be by entering and exhibiting it at the Greenwood County Fair in the Open Division.
The 4-H Foundation and fair superintendents have worked hard to put together a great county fair that our community can be proud of and look forward to seeing what you have to bring to the fair. You can enter online using Fair Entry which will open on June 1 and close on July 1 or if that doesn’t work for you, then you can find an entry form in our newly designed fair book that will be coming out at the end of May. The fair book will be available at several locations throughout the county. Paper copies will also be available in the Extension Office.
