Members of the Elk County Cobras Wrestling Club (ECW) traveled to Goddard on Sunday, Dec. 14, for the annual Kansas Young Guns Shoot Out. Following are the individual wins for ECW participants: 6U Boys 37: Jayce Baumgartel placed 2nd. He won an 18-3 tech fall over Bryar Brown (Bluestem Wrestling Club); won by fall over Elliott Liogghio (Jaguars) (Fall 2:47) and won by forfeit over Bryson Kirby (Abilene Kids).
10U Boys 82: Kash Bidwell placed 2nd. He won by fall over Drace Stupka (MAC) (Fall 5:26); won a 16-0 tech fall over Hogan Franklin (WTC); and won a 17-4 decision in sudden victory - 1 over Jax Kelemete (Chaparral Kids).
8U Novice 64: Konlee Bidwell placed 6th.
12U Boys 80: Jesse Highbarger placed 6th.
6U Girls 50: Skylee Edwards placed 1st. She won an 18-3 tech fall over Camdyn Fussell (Halstead); won a 16-0 tech fall over Olivia Dugan (Kansas Young Guns); won a 7-4 decision over Dre Stupka (MAC); and won by fall over Adalynn Doyle (Iron Grapplers) (Fall 0:12).
12U Girls 75-80: Payton Vancil placed 4th.
12U Girls 85-95: Autumn Love won a 10-3 decision over Olivia Moser (Wellington Youth).
12U Girls 100-110: Lakin Love placed 3rd. She won by fall over Tegan Buck (Wellington Youth) (Fall 3:35); won by fall over Matilda Scott (Power House) (Fall 1:30); and won by forfeit over JaMiyah Thompson (Team of Hard Knox).
14U Girls 101: Emma Baumgartel placed 1st. She won by fall over Lilliana Grant (Maize) (Fall 1:43); and won an 11-6 decision over Emersyn Chase (South Central Punishers).
14U Girls 145-165: Haylee Knight placed 3rd. She won by fall over Ella Swingle (Jaguar Wrestling Club) (Fall 0:45).
