The regular meeting of the Eureka Garden Club met on Friday, Dec. 6, at TNT Catering for lunch at 1:30 p.m. After lunch, President Vicki Lindsey called the meeting to order. She expressed appreciation to Rise Russin and Patricia Soule for being the hostesses. Ten members and one associate member were present. Sheila Hughes made the motion to clean the Mini Garden after the meeting. Several members went to the garden to prepare it for the winter months. Loria How-ard won a red and white kalanchoe plant and Diana Yows won a pink Christmas cactus as door prizes.
The next monthly meeting will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, with Lindsey and Sue McDonald as hostesses.
The meeting was adjourned by standing and repeating “The Gardener’s Creed.
