What a busy, busy weekend! What a fun weekend though. Had a good turnout for our annual Alumni Banquet. The weather was cool, but not cold. That is if you’re heater was working.
We turned our heater on Friday night, but there was no fan so we woke up to a really cold house Saturday morning! Checked everything, couldn’t find the problem. Had dad, Bob Cummings, give me a ride home from the Alumni banquet to see if he could figure it out.
After looking at the unit outside, he said well here’s the problem the gas is not turned on! How that got shut off I don’t know. Anyway, he turned it on and while we were standing there talking I heard the burner light. Went inside and and held my hand over a floor vent and YES, we had heat!
Thank God for dads! By the time you read this, we’ll probably have our A/ Cs back on!?

As I sit here typing, with one finger, I looked at the calendar and realized that it is Indingenous People’s Day! For many it is Columbus Day. Whichever you celebrated, I hope you had fun.
