Here we are in December and less than a month until Christmas! And, Santa is coming to town this Saturday, Dec. 7, at noon to the Gym. Other activities will be taking place starting at 10 a.m. at the gym. The Toronto Fire Department will be hosting a free-will donation hamburger feed to raise money for the department.
It’s going to be a morning of fun for all ages!

Wednesday was the opening day of firearm deer season. Please be safe out there and wear your safety orange. One day at my last job, when my supervisor walked in, I asked him what he was doing there. And, he said working why? I explained that I figured he wouldn’t be in that morning as it was the “Redneck National Holiday.”
For some reason he didn’t see the humor in that. I thought it was funny as many businesses have people put in for that day off and many more call in sick. I think it you were actually sick, your employer would not believe you without a note from your doctor’s office.
Answer: Pumpkin pie. I have some early bloomers trying to bloom in my yard! This weather has everything confused.
