It is Thanksgiving week! A time for many to gather with friends and family and be grateful for the blessings around them. For some, counting the blessings may be difficult as they might be struggling with grief or an illness during the holiday season. Despite the struggles we are often faced with, there are blessings around us. Throughout the last year, I have found myself trying to focus on the positives and simply find the good in every situation. At times, this is difficult; but, needed. Both positivity and negativity can spread like wildfire. Which one would you like around you? We have no idea what might be going on in others’ lives but we can always share a smile or a glimpse of positivity.
It could be the spark of hope they need to get through a trying time or simply a difficult holiday season.
My blessings look similar to those in past years, with family, friends, staff and of course the amazing readers we have that continue to support us.
