The annual Adopt-AChild for Christmas event at Emprise Bank is underway for its 34th year. The annual event is for any child in Greenwood County, 0-18 years of age, whose family meets the qualifying income guidelines. Children who might otherwise face a bleak and giftless Christmas will be added to this program with a want/need list, given to Santa’s helpers.
Sign-ups will be taken through Friday, Nov. 29. Those applying must have a current driver’s license and proof of income or benefits summary.
