Roth Named Capitol Federal Scholar At ESU

EMPORIA - Logan Roth of Madison is one of 27 Capitol Federal Scholars for 2024-25 who were celebrated during the annual luncheon on Nov. 6, at the Sauder Alumni Center at Emporia State University (ESU).

Named a Capitol Federal Business Scholar, Roth is a junior majoring in Business Administration.

In 2002, ESU became the first of seven Kansas higher education institutions to work with Capitol Federal on a scholarship program that prepares business students for challenges of the future. High-achieving students from ESU’s School of Business + Technology have benefited for more than two decades from the university’s partnership with the Capitol Federal Foundation.

“We are honored to support ESU students each year through our business school scholarship program,” said John B. Dicus, chairman, president and CEO of Capitol Federal. “We understand how challenging it can be to balance schoolwork and extracurriculars, and we’re proud to provide financial support to these exemplary students. The opportunity to meet the students in person and hear about their unique journeys is one we look forward to every year.” ESU’s policy of not limiting the number of scholarships students can receive allows this year’s Capitol Federal recipients to “stack” or combine multiple scholarship awards, further reducing the cost and financial burden for students attending Emporia State.
