Seven Eureka Tornadoes Received Post Season Tri-Valley League Honors

Seven Eureka Tornadoes received post-season honors recently and were named to the 2024 Tri-Valley League (TVL) special teams.

Lady Tornado junior Alaina Westerman was named to the All-League Volleyball Honorable Mention Team.

Tornado seniors Kalim Mouer, Jace Hardenbrook, Laken Valentine and juniors Peyton Hare, TJ Mills and Noah Rippy were named to special All-League TVL football teams.

Hare was named to the All-League Offensive team as Quarterback (QB).

Mills was named to the All-League Offense team as Wide Receiver (WR) and named to the honorable mention defense team as Defensive Back (DB).

Mouer was named to the All-League Offense team as Running Back (RB) and named to the honorable mention defense team as a Line Backer (LB).

Valentine was named to the All-League defense team as a DB and to the honorable mention offense team as a WR.

Hardenbrook was named to the honorable mention offense team as an Offensive Lineman (OL).

Rippy was named to the honorable mention defense team as a LB.

Others being named to special teams included: Volleyball 1st team: from Erie: senior Makenzie Larue; from Fredonia: senior Harlee Blackwell; from Humboldt: senior Shelby Shaughnessy and junior Skylar Hottenstein; from Neodesha: seniors Prayer Roebuck and Samantha Stover; 2nd team: from Bluestem: sophomore Kenzie Gaston; from Caney Valley: senior Serenity Burk; from Cherryvale: senior Liliann Whittley; from Erie: senior Jacksen Powell; from Neodesha: senior Darcie Dyke and junior Dalia Johnson; Honorable Mention: from Caney Valley: juniors Emma Marshall and Grace Prince; from Cherryvale: senior Kadynce Forman; from Fredonia: junior Lexyn Bracken; from Humboldt: junior Ricklyn Hillmon and sophomore Lakyn Meadows; from Neodesha: junior Brooklyn Newland.
