The Eureka Junior High wrestling team concluded their short season last Friday, Nov. 22, at Coffeyville. Eureka also hosted their home tournament on Thursday, Nov. 21. Following are the individual results for both tournaments: 2024 Eureka JH Tournament Boys 60-69: Nolan Morris placed 2nd. He won a 13-0 major decision over Trenton Lewis (Bluestem); and lost a 3-10 decision to Jacob Grimm (Cherryvale).
Boys 77-84: Brandon Cornett placed 1st. He won by fall over Tom Vu (Burlington JH) (Fall 2:47); won by fall over Xavier Anaya (Chanute-Royster) (Fall 2:30); and won by fall over Brock Vincen (Cherryvale) (Fall 0:55).
