The 2024-25 Eureka High School cheer team will travel to Topeka this Saturday, Nov. 23, for the 2A State performances.
The all-class state event will begin at 8:15 a.m., with cheer performances continuing through 8:28 p.m. that night. The 2A Game Day qualifying rounds begin at 9:57 a.m., with Eureka taking the mat at 10:04 a.m. The top six teams will advance to finals, which are slated to begin at 2:24 p.m.
βThe cheer team would love to have a huge Eureka crowd there to support them, as a large portion of the scoresheet is based on crowd involvement,β stated head coach Anna Noble. β2A is a very competitive class at State Cheer, where a hundredth of a point could determine the State Champ. We ask that our Eureka fans sit towards the center and towards the front as a group, wear red and blue, and cheer loud with the Eureka High School Cheerleaders,β she continued.
The all-class state event will be held at Stormant Vail Events Center, located at 1 Expocentre Drive, in Topeka. Doors open at 8 a.m.
A clear bag policy is in place, with tickets for the contest being $11 for K-12 students and $16 for adults.
