With a 54-14 victory over Cedar Vale/Dexter (CVD) last Thursday, Oct. 31, the Madison Bulldog football team advances to Regionals this Friday, Nov. 8, at Brookville.
Madison (6-3) will take on Ell-Saline (8-1), this Friday with kickoff slated for 7 p.m. The winner will advance to Sectional action on Friday, Nov. 15, against the winner of the Clifton Clyde (7-2) vs. Oswego (72) game in the eight-man Division 1 football state tournament.
Against CVD, the Bulldogs led 8-6 after the first, scoring on a 58-yard rush play. Madison was successful with the two-point conversion attempt and led 8-6 after the first. Madison would score on a 31-yard and a 59-yard pass play in the second and increase their lead to 34-14 at halftime. Madison’s defense would dominate in the second half holding CVD scoreless and adding 30 of their own (16 in the third and 14 in the fourth).

Leading the Bulldogs in tackles were Isch, Drake Loveall and Cade Hurlburt all with 7 and Octavian Dean 4. Packer Bolinger recorded a sack for the Bulldogs.
