Each year, K-State Athletics partners with county extension agents to honor one family from each county across the state at a select K-State Football game.
This year, Jeff, Doris and Cort Decker were selected to represent Greenwood County.
During the September 23 football game against the UCF Knights, each family had the opportunity to be recognized on the field and partake in waving the Powercat flag as the team takes the field.
The Deckers live in Piedmont. Cort Decker is a member of the Harmondy Sunflowers 4-H Club and is an eighth grader at Eureka Junior/Senior High School.
