Madison Football Suffered Loss To Lyndon

The Madison Bulldog football team lost their first game of the 2023 season last Friday.

The Madison Bulldog football team lost their first game of the 2023 season last Friday.

Madison fell 16-66 to the #2 Lyndon team, who moved to 2-0 in district play, 5-0 overall. Madison fell to 1-1 in district play, and 4-1 overall. “Lyndon is a really good football team, and we did not play consistently to the level needed to compete with one of the best teams in the state,” stated head coach Nathan Teichgraeber. “We hope to regroup this week at home, with another district opponent in Cair Paravel (Topeka),” he contined.

Lyndon led 14-0 after the 1st, 30-8 at half time, and finished the game 66-16.
