Lady Tornado senior Keira Crisswell just missed out on advancing to the 3-1A State Golf Tournament last Monday, Oct. 14.
Crisswell shot a 115 (60/55), finishing in a tie for 17th place and being the sixth golfer outside of those on the top three teams. The top three teams and the top five golfers not on those three teams advance to the state tournament.
Margaret Ulrich, of Wichita-Collegiate, won the regional with an 83 (43/40). St. Mary’s Colgan won the team contest with a four-person score of 388; Caney was second with 409 and Columbus was third with 476.
