A variety of businesses have again agreed to participate in the annual “Trick/Trunk-or-Treat Main Street” event this year. The City of Eureka has agreed to barricade Main Street between 1st and 3rd Streets for the Trick-Or-Treaters. Other businesses outside of those blocks have also agreed to participate. Please make sure to follow pedestrian rules. Barricades will be in place from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. Food items are to be store bought/in original packaging, with the exception of Hope Church who will be offering a free grabn- go hot dog meal. Those still wishing to provide Trick/Trunk-or-Treaters with items can complete a Eureka Honors Club application form at The Eureka Herald, located at 822 E. River St., in Eureka.
