The Greenwood County 4-H Meat Judging Team traveled to Garden City on Sunday, September 24, to compete in the 2023 Beef Empire Days Invitational Meat Judging Contest.
The team of Caylin Luthi, Hannah Perrier, Addison Westerman, Brooke Gaines and Cody Jonhson finished the day as the Reserve Champion Team of the Contest. Gaines was 4th high individual overall and Luthi was 5th high overall.
The trip was a great learning experience for the team and another step as they prepare for the Western National Contest in January.
