The years truly do seem to go by quicker each year. As a child, I thought our elders were crazy when they uttered statements similar to that; but, with each passing year, I completely agree. Monday of this week began post-season action for our Tornadoes. I don’t know how the season went by so quickly, but it truly feels like yesterday was the first day of practices. Maybe it is because I have a freshman and a seventh grader or maybe time just goes by faster.
Lady Tornado Keira Crisswell kicked-off the post-season action for the Tornadoes at golf regionals on Monday. (She was still competing at regionals at the time of deadline). Volleyball will compete in regionals on Monday, Oct. 21 with sub-state action being on Saturday, Oct. 26. Cross Country regionals will also be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 and our Tornado football team will begin post-season the week of Halloween.
Good luck to our area teams!
Trick/Trunk or Treat Main Street will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 3:15-5 p.m. Applications for those wishing to provide goodies can be found at our office. For more information, email me at [email protected]
