Annual Toronto Alumni Luncheon This Saturday

The Toronto High School Alumni is celebrating their 114th Reunion this year on Saturday, October 7. This yearly celebration was formally changed last year from an evening banquet and dance on the Saturday before Easter to a luncheon on the first Saturday of October. Also, Alumni members are able to bring their family. Special guests who attended Toronto Schools are also welcome to attend. This year’s meal will be catered by TNT Catering from Eureka. There is a fee per meal as well as dues still being relatively low. See related ad elsewhere in this week’s edition. Reservations are encouraged, but not necessary. On April 22, 2000 the Toronto Alumni bylaws were approved to accept any direct relatives of an alumni member, as well as graduates living in the former Toronto School District. They will have the opportunity to apply for membership to the Toronto Alumni. Eligible candidates are high school graduates, regardless of their school districts. Potential candidates will be reviewed and voted on by the president and the initiation committee.

Anyone who would like to join with the above criteria are most welcome.

The officers this year are President- Levi Gulick, Vice President-Kathy Cummings and Secretary- Fuller.
