Library To Host Open House

Eureka Public Library is hosting an open house to showcase changes and additions made to the library over the last 18 months. The open house will be Thursday, Oct. 17, from 2 to 7 p.m.

The public can come to the library and see Makerspace demonstrations, enjoy the new play area in the children’s section, view artwork that has gone up in the teen section, and learn about the advantages for patrons that the new SEKnFind circulation system offers. In addition, the October Crafternoon event will be at the same time where visitors can do a make and take pumpkin collage free of charge.

Refreshments will be available and there will be drawings for door prizes.

For more information on this or other library events stop by the library at 606 North Main, Eureka, or call 620-583-6222.
