The Eureka Tornado junior varsity (JV) volleyball team made the short trip to Rosalia on Saturday, Oct. 5 for the Flinthills JV Tournament, where the Lady Tornadoes went 3-2 and claimed third place honors.
The Lady Tornadoes fell to Remington, 17-25 and 21-25; defeated Cedar Vale/ Dexter 2, 25-11 and 25-15; defeated Chase County, 25--20 and 25-23; fell to Cedar Vale/Dexter 1, 24-26, 2518 and 8-15; and defeated Remington 2, 25-6 and 2518.
The Lady Tornadoes will travel to Cherryvale on Tuesday, Oct. 15 to face the Chargers and Cubs of Humboldt; before hosting Neodesha and Sedan on Thursday, Oct. 17, for Parents and Senior night.
