Rockin’ Robin!

It’s National Newspaper Week! A week where we celebrate newspapers across the nation for providing coverage on various events. Through their efforts in keeping the public informed, several also serve as watchdogs to keep transparency with governing bodies.

It’s National Newspaper Week! A week where we celebrate newspapers across the nation for providing coverage on various events. Through their efforts in keeping the public informed, several also serve as watchdogs to keep transparency with governing bodies.

From simply getting the word out about community happenings to ensuring that the public knows what happens during various council/board meetings, we do it all with pride! We know there are two sides to every story and focus on sharing the facts with our readers. We get to celebrate with our community during the best of times and will even lend a shoulder during the difficult times.

Journalism matters, and I am blessed to be a part of a great industry. Through our print, pickup and online editions we are able to provide #NewspapersYourWay. Thank you to our readers for your continued support. I hope to continue to serve as a “watchdog” for years to come.

Happy National Newspaper Week!
