Patriot Football Defeated Oswego

West Elk Patriot foot- ball moved to 4-0, as they claimed a 54-44 victory over Oswego last Friday night.

Although the Patriots claimed an early 14-0 vic- tory, West Elk trailed 3844 in the fourth quarter. West Elk's offense was able to tally 16 points to close out the final stanza and se cured the victory to move to 4-0 on the season.

Scoring for the Patriots included: Creyo Koop (25yard run; 2-point conversion unsuccessful), Koop (4-yard run; 2-point conversion rush successful by Koop), Koop (45-yard kick-of return; 2-point con- version rush successful by Koop), Trent Haag to Ga rett Usry (10-yard pass, 2-point conversion rush successful by Koop), Koop

(2-yard run; 2-point conversion rush successful by Koop), Haag to Koop (40-yard pass, 2-point con- version rush successful by Koop).

West Elk tallied 13 first downs, 39 rushing attempts for 251 total yards and con- nected on 3 of 4 passes for 64 yards.
