Following a 72-0 Patriot victory last Friday, Sept. 20, West Elk High School crowned homecoming royalty.
Being crowned were Queen Josey Toon, daughter of Joseph and Candace Toon of Howard, and King Maddex Moreno, son of Bob and Krista Moreno of Moline. Other Queen candidates included: Larissa Vanderhagen, Jaicey Tillapaugh and Briea McGee; and for King: Kase Kill, Trent Haag and Josh Patteson. Kindergarten attendents were Carly Folsum and John Griesel.
