Hometown Heroes To Be Recognized Prior To Game

The Eureka High School Cheerleaders will lead a caravan this Friday. Participants are to start lining up at 6 p.m. at the corner of Seventh and Main Streets, in Eureka. The Caravan will begin at 6:10 p.m. and will travel South on Main Street and continue East on River Street (Hwy 54), turning North on Jefferson Street and ending at the McGinnis Field.

At approximately 6:40 p.m., members of the senior class will escort their ‘Hometown Hero’ in front of the home bleachers, prior to the opening kick-off for the 2024 Tornado football season. Eureka will be facing the Yellowjackets of Fredonia, with kickoff slated for 7 p.m. The community is encouraged to participate in the caravan and join the crowd to honor the Class of 2025’s selection of Hometown Heroes.

The plan is to continue to have caravans for all High School home varsity football games.
