The Madison Bulldogs move into the fifth week of action with a 4-0 record, after defeating Maranatha Christian Academy 60-14 last Friday night during their homecoming event.
“Offensively, we rushed 15 times for 360 yards as a team, almost 25 yards a play,” stated Coach Nathan Teichgraeber.
Bulldogs Lane Darbro and Colton Isch split 11 carries for over 300 yards and 7 TDs between them.
“Defensively, we knew they had explosive offensive capabilities, so our goal was to slow them down, and make them have to earn everything. We had a few mix ups defensively assignment wise, but credit to Maranatha for showing a few new wrinkles offensively,” stated Teichgraeber.
The Bulldogs are 4-0 and 1-0 in district play. They will travel to Lyndon this Friday, September 29. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m.
