Claimed Annual Beaumont Pasture Golf Title

A total of 40 teams and 155 golfers traveled to a pasture near Beaumont for the annual Beaumont Pasture golf tournament. The annual event is hosted by the Beaumont Communication Association and this year was hosted on the Lewis Ranch, with the help of Daryl, Judy and Linton Lewis. The proceeds from this tournament fund projects for the year including: scholarships, upkeep/expenses to the Beaumont Depot Community Center and support for community programs.

A total of 40 teams and 155 golfers traveled to a pasture near Beaumont for the annual Beaumont Pasture golf tournament. The annual event is hosted by the Beaumont Communication Association and this year was hosted on the Lewis Ranch, with the help of Daryl, Judy and Linton Lewis. The proceeds from this tournament fund projects for the year including: scholarships, upkeep/expenses to the Beaumont Depot Community Center and support for community programs.

The overall championship and champion ranch team went to Evenson Cattle, comprised of Austin Evenson, Brian Mongeau, Heath Samuels and Britt Loving. They finished the 10-hole round with a 29 or 12 under. There were two teams behind them tied at 30. The tie was broken on the handicap with a team from Maple City, comprised of Scott Wedman, Tyler Wedman, John Vanroyen and Jaben Killman, taking second overall and also second place Ranch team.

Prize holes were won by the following: Men’s Closest to Pin – Joe Landers from the B&H Landworks LLC team, Augusta; Women’s Closest to Pin – Robin Wunderlich from The Eureka Herald team, Eureka; Men’s Longest Drive – Austin Evenson from the Evenson Cattle team, Eureka; and Women’s Longest Drive – Shelly Schmidt from Jason Piha’s team, Douglass.

Next year’s event is slated for Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025.
