Monthly Events Continue At Eureka Public Library

Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. Not only can you rent books, audiobooks and movies, but you can join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.

Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. Not only can you rent books, audiobooks and movies, but you can join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.

This month, the Eureka Public Library will host the following: Babygarten Sign-Ups Begin

Sign-Ups for Babygarten classes start Friday, Sept. 6 and end Friday, Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m. Babygarten is a six-week program that brings caregivers and babies together for stimulating experiences. Babygarten’s primary focus is the healthy development of infants aged 0 – 24 months old with an emphasis on pre-literacy skills. Registration is required and the classes are limited to 12 spots.

September Crafternoon Join staff for the September Crafternoon event on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 12-6 p.m. for a come-and-go activity. Those attending will have the chance to make their own tissue paper sunflowers!

September Book Munch Club

Join the library for Book Munch Club Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. Book Munch Club is a book club for persons 18 and older where everyone involved reads their own books at their own pace. It’s a great way to meet new people, find new great books you might not have considered, and be a part of a book club without all the pressure! Feel free to bring a dish to share (or not lol) and come talk books with us! No RSVP necessary, no registering! Just come as you are and hang out with other adults.

Banned Books Week

Come into the library Monday, Sept. 23 - Friday, Sept. 27 for Banned Books Week! Celebrate your right to read and check out the displays of this year’s most banned books!
