We offer our sympathy to the families of Benjamin “Ben” Ivy, Robert “Bob” Lawson, Jan “JW” Marr, Nancy Huntington and Angelo Turner. We offer our sympathy to the families of all others who passed away this past week. May they all rest in peace.

Hello to all in area nursing and assisted living facilities. Hello also to all in area hospitals and rehab facilities.

We have one more week until the Toronto alumni. If you and your family are planning on coming, reservations would be nice but not necessary. Please call Sherry Fuller at 620-6372985 or text her at 620-4730408.

By laws where amended to include spouses at the banquet and also to allow children and grandchildren of members to become members upon graduation from high school, if they would like to become members. If you have a child or grandchild who would like to join the alumni, regardless of their age, please call me at 620-637-2388 or shoot me a message on messenger.

Dinner this year is being catered by TNT Catering of Eureka.

Answer: Mars! Although it is known as the red planet, the sunsets on mars are actually blue due to the dust being rich and iron oxide.

Hasn’t the rain we got the last few days been wonderful? Now if we can just get a few more days of gentle rain, that would be great. But, we will take whatever we can get. I don’t know how much rain we actually got, since I don’t have a rain gauge, but I’ve heard varying amounts of .03 to 1 1/2 inches.
