Monthly Events Continue At Eureka Public Library

Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. Not only can you rent books, audiobooks and movies, but you can join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.

Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. Not only can you rent books, audiobooks and movies, but you can join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.

This month, the Eureka Public Library will host the following: Summer Reading 2024

Join the EPL for this year’s summer reading program: Adventure Begins at Your Library. Each Wednesday at 4 p.m. throughout the summer, the library will go on a new adventure, from deep space to the deepest oceans and beyond! Summer reading events continue through the end of July!

July Crafternoon

Join staff for the June Crafternoon event on Thursday, July 11, from 12-6 p.m. for a come-andgo activity. Those attending will have the chance to make their own ice cream sundae craft!

Harry Potter Lock-In

Come watch Harry Potter movies, make your own wand, attend potions class, and much more. This is a free event for tweens and teens who have finished sixth through 12th grade during the 2023-24 school year ONLY. Come pick up a registration form at the library during business hours. Parent permission and signature are required on the form. Feel free to call the EPL at 620-583-6222 for more information! (Registration is required by Wednesday, July 10. No exceptions.)

July Book Munch Club

Join the library for Book Munch Club Thursday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. Book Munch Club is a book club for persons 18 and older where everyone involved reads their books at their own pace. It’s a great way to meet new people, find new great books you might not have considered and be a part of a book club without all the pressure! Feel free to bring a dish to share (or keep to yourself) and come talk books with the group. No RSVP necessary, no registering. Just come as you are and hang out with other adults.
