Ten teams participated in the annual Eureka In Eureka contest on Thursday, July 4, with the Ward/Hurley/Williams team claiming top honors.
The Wade’s Fireworks team was second with Debi Hurley and Sunkoda Ledford placing third.
The annual event is a scavenger hunt throughout the city limits of Eureka.
One of the questions for this year’s hunt was: “What address is this big red chocolate located at?”
Participants were given two hours to find all of the answers and return to the Masonic Lodge Building to review the answers, including where the big red chocolate is located (612 N. Elm Street, in Eureka. The Ward/ Hurley/ Williams team will be in charge of the search for next year’s Party in the Park event.
