President Dallas Luthi called the June 17 special meeting of USD 386 Board of Education to order at 5 p.m.
Roll call was answered by D. Luthi, Jannette Luthi, Ty Gaines, Amy Hind, Justin Isch and Jennifer Watts. Also attending were Superintendent Tammy Baird, Andrew Watts and Marcie Harrison.
The board approved the transfer of $52,000 from the general fund to food service and $38,123.91 from the general fund to special education.
The board held three executive sessions, totaling 35 minutes, to discuss personnel matters of non-elected personnel. Superintendent Baird joined the board for the first 14 minutes of the sessions. After returning to open session, the board approved to increase the salaries of the elementary principal, Amanda Schil, and the superintendent/ secondary principal by 5%; approved the salary of Mark Adams for $56,250– $26,250 for teaching, $7,000 for technology and $23,000 for transportation director.
The board held a fiveminute executive session, with the administration. No action was taken after returning to open session.
