Washburn Announced Layla Buttel As Spring 2024 President’s List Honoree

TOPEKA- Washburn University announced its President’s List honorees for the spring 2024 semester. To qualify for the President’s List, a student must complete at least 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 4.0.

TOPEKA- Washburn University announced its President’s List honorees for the spring 2024 semester. To qualify for the President’s List, a student must complete at least 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 4.0.

Layla Buttel from Madison is a President’s List honoree for Spring 2024.

More than 600 students qualified for the President’s List.

“These students have excelled in the classroom through a lot of hard work and dedication. We congratulate them for reaching this milestone, earning a place among the best and brightest at Washburn,” said Dr. JuliAnn Mazachek, president, Washburn University.

Founded in 1865, Washburn University is a public institution with more than 6,000 students involved in more than 200 academic programs. Washburn’s programs lead to certification, associate, bachelor, master’s degree or doctor of nursing practice and juris doctor degrees. The programs are offered through Washburn’s six primary academic units - College of Arts and Sciences, School of Applied Studies, School of Business, School of Nursing, School of Law and Washburn Institute of Technology (Washburn Tech).
