The inaugural Clasen Family Memorial junior/ senior golf tournament was held on Saturday, June 22, at the Eureka Country Club, with 27 teams competing for top honors.
This tournament replaced the Forest Graves Memorial Tournament that has been held for several years.
Teams were comprised of a “junior,” youth ages 9-18 and a “senior,” an adult.
Participants hit tee shots, picked the best ball and completed the hole by taking alternate shots.
The winning score was a 38, turned in by Liam Mead and his father Justin, who competed in the 12-14 age division. Four teams shot a 41, with scorecard playoffs breaking the tie.
