Monthly Events Continue At Eureka Public Library

Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. Not only can you rent books, audiobooks and movies; but, you can also join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.

Throughout the year, Eureka Public Library (EPL) hosts various events to encourage patrons to visit the local library. Not only can you rent books, audiobooks and movies; but, you can also join staff for craft activities, story hours and even game nights.

This month, the Eureka Public Library will host the following: Summer Reading 2024 Join the EPL for this year’s summer reading program: “Adventure Begins at Your Library!” Each Wednesday, at 4 p.m. throughout the summer, the library will go on a new adventure, from deep space to the deepest oceans and beyond! There will be so many amazing adventures to join the libary for this summer. There will be Story Hours, Lego Days, a reading competition and more!

Bingo Night

On Tuesday, April 16, come for a fun night of Bingo. The EPL will have prizes, snacks and fun. Join them for an evening of friendly competition and friendship! This event is limited to persons 18 and above only! No registration is necessary.

June Crafternoon

Join staff for the June Crafternoon event on Thursday, June 13, from 12-6 p.m. for a comeand- go activity. Those attending will have the chance to paint rocks for the rock snake, Roscoe!

Summer Movie Night

Join the EPL the evening of Saturday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. for a free movie night. There will be popcorn, drinks and a movie that fits with the summer reading theme of adventure!

June Game Night

The monthly game night event will be held on Friday, June 21, from 6-9 p.m. The library has several dozen board games to choose from and attendees can also bring their favorite board games from home. Snacks will be provided – just bring your game skills and be ready to compete and have fun with fellow game players. No pre-registration is required, just show up for the fun.
