Elk County Community Foundation Match Event In Progress

ELK COUNTY – Does your local Elk County non-profit organization need funds for a special or on-going project? Are you looking for a way to give back and support your Elk County community? The Elk County Community Foundation (ECCF) is currently engaged in a $70,000 Match Event with the Patterson Family Foundation (PFF) help. ECCF represents Elk Falls, Longton, Moline, Grenola, Howard and Severy. Every community in our area has projects and local non-profit organi-zations that could use support. Senior citizens, local sports groups, community projects and youth activities can benefit from the philanthropy of local citizens.

The Patterson Family Foundation will match donations received up to $70,000. In 2023, ECCF received the opportunity to participate in a similar campaign through PFF and raised $97,000 with the help and support of Elk County citizens. That event allowed ECCF to distribute $167,000 to 18 local non-profit organizations. PFF has given us a second opportunity; ECCF hopes to exceed last year’s funding and again distribute the money throughout our communities. The 2024 Match Event is currently underway and ends June 10.

No donation is too small, and every donation is appreciated. To donate, contact Brandi Mast, Associate Director of ECCF at brandi. [email protected] or go to the website centralkansascf. org/donate.

Donations can also be mailed to ECCF PO Box 956 Howard, KS 67349 or given to any ECCF Board Member. You can watch the progress on Facebook and Instagram.
