Make Mini-Zen Gardens AtThe Library

Zen gardens have become a popular tool to help people de-stress and meditate. Eureka Public Library is offering a chance to learn more about them with a ‘Mini Zen Gardens 101” class to be held on Tuesday, September 26. Attendees can take part in either a 2 p.m. session or a 7 p.m. session. The history and symbolism of Zen gardens will be covered and then participants will have the opportunity to make a mini Zen garden of their own. No pre-registration is required and the class is free. Supplies for this event are made possible as part of “Greenwood Counties – Discover Your Next Chapter” programming which is being funded by a Dream Grant from the Southeast Kansas Library System.
