After two years of the annual event being canceled, the Tree Shakin Show Down will host its fish tournament and annual fish fry this weekend.

After two years of the annual event being canceled, the Tree Shakin Show Down will host its fish tournament and annual fish fry this weekend.

The public is invited to attend the 13th annual Greenwood County Tree Shakin Sho Down fishing tournament.

Flathead for weigh-in can only be caught in Greenwood County. The teams will be 2-man teams and limb line fishing only. A team meeting will be held this Thursday, May 30, at 6 p.m. at the Eureka Downs Concourse Building, located at Greenwood County Fairgrounds. At least one team member must be present.

Day one weigh in will be held from 9-9:45 a.m., with day two planned for 9:4510:30 a.m.

A fish fry will be held on Sunday, June 2, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the concourse uilding. There is a suggested meal price for ages 13 and up and ages 6-12. Children under the age of five will eat for free. To-go meals will be available.

All proceeds go to the Greenwood County Wild Kansas Association to help with disaster relief funding within Greenwood County. For more information contact Brandon Escareno at 316-323-8908.
