During the annual Eureka Days event, Eureka Recreation Pickleball invites community members to come play and/or watch the activity on Saturday, June 1, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Those who know how to play can join in round-robin type games and beginners can play on the second court with paddles and instructions provided. Ron and Melinda Hall brought the idea to facilitate pickleball for those interested to the Eureka Recreation Commission back in 2022. Since then, they have increased participation and continue to meet three times a week at the Tornado Activity Center, at Eureka Junior/Senior High School. Those interested in watching or joining the activity are encouraged to attend on Sundays at 1:30 p.m. or on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m.
