Three members of the Eureka High School Class of 2024 received special recognition during Senior Day festivities last Friday, May 10, when they were named as the Valedictorian and Salutatorians of the graduating class.
Lyle Perrier was named as the 2024 Valedictorian and Makyla Gore and Banff Perkins were named as the 2024 Salutatorians.
These three were also designated as Kansas State Scholars and earned Tri-Valley League Recognition for outstanding ACT scores. Perrier, Gore and Perkins were also three of just five Eureka High School seniors to complete the Kansas Board of Regents recommended curriculum. Perrier is the son of Matt and Amy Perrier of rural Eureka.
Gore is the daughter of Lori Gore of Eureka.
Perkins is the daughter of Mark and Donelda Perkins of Eureka.
